Jul Staple

I’m quirky and an introvert who loves helping folks with their projects and business plans through marketing and business systems. I love keeping all the aspects of a project organized and on track! You can read more about me below if you are interested in my background and how I got where I am today, but the TL;DR is:

• I have a marketing degree and ten-plus years of work experience both agency-side and client-side.
• I have managed multiple projects simultaneously, from home developers developing signage to branding to website development to Project and Team Management.
• I love puzzles and problem-solving, which tend to happen with WordPress websites.
• I enjoy creating email marketing newsletters and social media graphics (as an introvert, I don’t do community building, just the graphics).
• I build business systems that set you up to succeed!

Business Knowledge + Business Experience

Jul Staple has business knowledge, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Mount Royal University and marketing, admin, and business experience, including owning businesses, working in a marketing agency as a Studio Manager, in corporate marketing as a National Marketing Manager, and in Conference planning.

What experience does Jul have that might be relevant to you?

Fractional Marketing and Business Support  assisting small- and medium-sized businesses with their marketing needs on a fractional basis. I also provide fractional project management to marketing and advertising agencies.

Studio Manager in a busy Advertising Agency; I managed a staff of five full-time and additional contract employees. I wore many hats, from Office Manager to Project Management to Client Relations to Google Ads setup and management to WordPress developer. I ran multiple projects simultaneously, from proposal/estimating to design, development, booking printing, and installation. Wrangling all the chaos of multiple projects, staff, and clients all at once was incredibly rewarding.

I was the National Marketing Manager for a franchisee-based national hotel chain. I managed a marketing budget of $200,000 for five regions across Canada. I edited and sent out a bi-weekly email newsletter and bi-annual paper newsletter. I also managed work with a digital agency and a graphic designer for brochures, advertising, rack cards, billboards, etc.
